Greetings from your distant friend, Sir Brand of An Tir (I of the
Leukemia & Lymphoma Fundraisers so many have given to. More on that
at the bottom)
I have a new call for assistance. This time, it is for your
recommendations for teachers/leaders of the ways of SCA War.
In An Tir (the Pacific Northwest) April 3-6, 2008, we are planning an
event focusing on war fighting called "The Art of War".
see http://groups.google.com/group/art-of-war-sasra
We are still in the planning stages (even this email is a bit of an
experiment) but I want to develop a list of possible instructors to
invite. I would like to arrange to have at least a few (1-3) attend
from far away (travel to An Tir, room and board at the event paid for
by us). That's the plan, anyway. I have seen this done at our Sport
of Kings event in Portland done this last August and it worked quite
well.
So, if you would like to put someone's name up, this is what we need
to know (it may be good to contact the gentle first, to make sure
they are available/interested.) Your picks do not have to be from
where you live.
Please contact them and have them send me:
