Greeting again, all.  I received this email today from Baroness Belphebe and
I have her permission to answer her question publicly.  :-)

The rules for the A&S War Points for War of the Wings II can be found here:

Under Static Display, the part about Artisans may have been written "too
carefully".

Artisans are "invited" to stay with their entry, but they are not "required"
to be there.  Some will be fighting, some will be retaining for the many
Royals we expect, a fair number will be working around the event.

Patrons are required to check in and show up for at least part of the time
set aside for the Artisan/Patron meeting, so that they may distribute their
tokens and comment cards.

Artisans who are not present will miss the opportunity to talk about their
entry, to get feedback and to track down resources.  But they will not be
penalized in any way.

The goal of this part of the event is to have people come together, to see
the entries and to talk about what they see.

There will not be judging in the Static Display.  The feedback will all come
from the Patron/Artisan meetings.  There is a longer explanation, but this
email is long enough.  If someone asks, I'll write up that response.  :-)

Please continue to ask any questions that any of you have.  This is a new
format for a Competition/Display.  I think I've got the mechanics pretty
well figured out, but would rather have questions asked and answered, even
repeated, than to have someone not come or not bring and entry because they
don't think the rules will allow it.

As a bonus answer:  We do not have a Miscellaneous category, but if an entry
won't fit anywhere else, put a feather on it (literally, with tape, staples,
glue or handspun flax!) and enter it under Wings and/or War.  We want to see
your stuff!  :-)

Just a question for you.  I had planned on entering a
project at WoW's A&S competition.

Alas, I have realized that staying with your project
is a requirement.  Sadly, I will be in the battlefield
doing siege and, hopefully, rapier.  I don't know if
there will be any time for me to accompany my latest
project :-(

Is this an absolute requirement?  Or do we, fighters
will be allowed only to display but not to compete?
