[MR] crochet to english?

ok ok you laugh now but how many times have you wanted to REALLY do 
something but have only VERY LIMITED knowledge of how to??  I looked online 
for crochet to english but only found crochet and knitting terms from enlish 
to german or vice-vera.  I need crochet terms to idiot english.  I mean 
really now...what the heck is hdc in next st, sk next st, hdc in next 5 sts, 
sk next st etc.??  The only part I got was the wash by machine......
