Just a quick last minute reminder.

There will be two classes and two competitions.

*Classes:*
*1. Gonfalon 101:*basics of the SCA standard armorial flag - 11am
*2. Silent Heralds:* who we are and what we do - 1pm

*Competitions:*

*Art of Heraldic Arms:*
Entries to this competition include any period item with a Heraldic Device
upon it.  Items must be handmade by the entrant and may not have been
entered in any prior competition.  Some documentation is required for the
item.  The arms must be a registered heraldic device with the SCA College of
Arms and proof of this  is required for all personal arms.  Kingdom,
Baronial or other geographical arms may be used.  This competition is
specifically to encourage the use of arms in any A&S art form.  The arms
themselves will not be judged, only how they are used within the context of
the item.

*Walk Around contest:*
Wear your coat of arms with pride.  An anonymous judge will be walking
around to choose the best use of a device within an item of clothing.  All
entries must be worn; the individual wearing the item is considered the
entrant.

The A&S Hall will be opening at 10 am on Saturday, so stop by and see all of
the wonderful items on display!
