[MR] Court Report: First Court, Fall Coronation, 1 September A.S. XLII

Herein are recorded the details of Their Royal Majesties Logan and
Rowan's First Court at Fall Coronation, done on Saturday, September
1st, Anno Societatis XLII (2007) in Their Majesty's Barony of
Stierbach, as reported by THL Baroness Meleri ferch Iasper ap Dafydd
Du, court herald.

Their Majesties did greet and thank the Populace for their attendance
and recognized all the newcomers attending Coronation as their first
event.  A basket of divers gifts was then presented by Their Majesties
of Atlantia to HRH Prince Andreas Eisfalke von Ulm, Heir to the Throne
of the East Kingdom, who was present in Court.  His Majesty then did
exchange valorous words with Prince Andreas concerning the brotherhood
in arms between Fair Atlantia and the Storied East Realm, and with a
clasp of royal hands that brotherhood was affirmed.

Their Majesties then proceeded to Their Order of Business, to wit:

Their Majesties did elevate unto the rank of Duke of the Realm Lucius
Aurelius Valharic, to the great acclaim of all present.

The Children, such as had participated in the official Children's
Activities during the day, were then called into Court and report was
made concerning their wondrous deeds and actions while so engaged.
They presented fans unto Their Majesties and were cheered by the
Populace.  Then Their Majesties did summon all other children into the
Court, directing them to gather at the back of the hall for the
distribution of Largesse from the Kingdom Toy Chest.  This was done
with great excitement and glee.

Their Majesties then did require the Vice, Greed, to present herself
before Them; Greed being otherwise occupied, she did send an Minion
who made divers challenges to the Populace, much to the amusement of
all.

Her Majesty Queen Rowan then did appoint two new Guards, in the
persons of Reinhardt von Greifswald and Loric of Ironwood, who did
take their place upon the dais to assume their duties.

The Household of Lion's Keep was called into Court to make a
presentation unto Her Majesty of more than 200 favours that they had
created for Her Majesty to bestow upon the Fighters of Atlantia.  His
Majesty most gallantly did entreat Her Majesty to grant him the boon
of receiving the first of them; right happily did Her Majesty grant
his request, and to the cheers of the Populace she did affix the
favour to His Majesty's belt.

House Lion's Keep was then granted supporters as augmentation to their
arms, to wit, an eight-armed estoile argent, and a unicornate seahorse
azure (aka "Spike")

His Majesty King Logan then called forth Sir Sinclair, the Kingdom
Warlord, to address the Fighters among the Populace on the subject of
upcoming Wars and rumors of Wars, and how the fighting would be
conducted therein.

An Auction was then conducted to raise funds for the Susan G. Komen
Foundation in memory of Mistress Caitlín Cheannláidir and all other
Atlantians who are no longer among us due to cancer; the items
auctioned off were lampwork beads especially created for that purpose
by divers persons, report of which has been made to the Merry Rose.
Under the capable auctioneer's skills of Dame Roksanne Grenestrete,
the beads were auctioned off and around $850.00 was raised for the
charity.

The Autocrat, Baroness Sunniva Kyrre, was called into court to make a
report on the outcome of the day and offer divers thanks concerning
the various events of the day, in which the Populace did heartily
join.
