Sent on behalf of Master Tristan, Clerk Signet.

Greetings unto the Scribes of Atlantia from Master Tristan Alexander, Clerk
Signet,

In January at 12th Night, my term will be up and I have no plans to extend
my time as Signet. I will be taking on a much more important job, that of
nanny for my apprentices daughter. She is due at the end of November and by
12th Night I am sure I will be taking up most of my days as a full time
babysitter :)

It has been a great and a terrible job being Signet. I loved seeing all the
great work of the scribes of this kingdom and being privy to TRM plans to
award so many deserving people. Being part of that process is amazing. I
hated the administrative parts, the paperwork and computer related stuff is
a pain to me. I am still not happy with how the backlog online is going but
it is being worked on and I hope will be much smoother for the next Signet.

It is a hard job but I have no doubt there are able and willing people out
there who would be willing to serve the Kingdom by taking on this challenge.

If you think you would like to serve in this position, please send your sca
resume and/or a letter with your background and why you think you could do
this job, to Mistress Rhiannon, Triton Principal Herald

(herald at atlantia.sca.org) and to me at (vampyre at ponymail.com). It takes
several hours a week, mostly answering emails and dealing with TRMs needs
for upcoming events. I would suggest that anyone wanting to take on this job
be proficient with computers, database stuff especially as that is a big
part of keeping things running smoothly.

Please have your resumes/applications to Triton/Signet by 12/15/08.

So that I can complete the redoing of the Scribes handbook before I step
down, Maestra Julianna has graciously agreed to help out by taking over more
duties, specifically current and backlog scroll production, so please
contact her at MaestraJulianna at aol.com for any questions or needs related to
that.

In service and friendship,

Master Tristan
