Wow! What a weekend. Based on the feedback we received, the Southern
Atlantian Archery Day was a resounding success. I want to thank all those who
attended for giving this new event a chance, especially those of you who traveled
from out of state. Your presence really enhanced the weekend. I hope you had
a great time and will join us again next year.
As is usual with events, there are a host of people to thank and I'd like to
take a moment to do just that. First I'd like to thank the Baron and
Baroness of Sacred Stone for allowing our foolishness throughout and especially at
court. (I have a digital video of Ooog of the Hill People for blackmail
purposes if needed.) (smile).
A very big thank to my husband Tim Arrowfinder for not only finding many
stray arrows (in the poison ivy), but for all his help and support before and
throughout. I won't list all the many tasks everyone accomplished since that
would make for a very long note BUT... A smart salute and heartfelt thank-you
is due Lord Christophe of Gray for work above and beyond the call. Many
thanks Lady Eleanor of Gray, Bassi inn fiskni Einarsson and his beautiful Lady
Svana in kyrra Haraldsdottier, Gisela vom Kreuzbach (Gise), Aine A' Grian and
her Lord Robyn, Guntram (Oberman) and Korinna, Lady Rozsa and Lord Christian,
Mistress Susanna, Wolfgang (Homie), the Ladies of Taylorwood Lynden and
Ceridwen, Lady Eva Liao and Fergus Fletcher, Rotschen, Baroness Morwenna and her
Lord, Lady Annora Hall, Susanna and Dubhghall, Nuala and Muireann, Gerturde zu
dem Wald and Baron Achbar, and the wonderful staff of Roanwoulfe Tavern. If I
forgot anyone, my apologies, blame it on exhaustion.
My warmest and most sincere thanks and gratitude. Well done.
Lady Lorelei Greenleaf
