Here are the Heavy and Rapier Team Rules and Requirements for Bloodlines on
September 29th. The following rules are subject to change prior to the
event:
Teams
--------------------------------------------------------
Each team will be comprised of 4-8 fighters. There is no restriction to who
can be on a team, but one member must be designated as the team captain. You
can either come with a team, or you will be placed on one at the event. We
recommend teams of varied weapons forms, but it is not a requirement. Each
team will represent one of the nobles that fought during the War of the
Roses (see below). If you have a team already formed, and you have
preference as to which noble you would like to represent, please contact
Lord Auric (auric at tirydon.org).
Combat Rules
--------------------------------------------------------
A map of England will be split into many territories, and they will be
evenly distributed among all participating teams. Teams will then vie for
ownership of those territories to determine the victor. Each territory will
be marked to designate the melee scenario (open field, bridge, portal,
etc.).
All melee combat will be split into rounds, in which each team will declare
an attack on a adjacent territory. If a team is also declared against during
a round, they can accept up to two challenges. This prevents any team from
fighting more than three times in one round. Each team will be given a pouch
of money to 'bribe' other teams into assisting them with each challenge.
Teams who lose all of their territories become teams for hire. There will
also be an award for the richest team at the end of all combat.
Nobles
--------------------------------------------------------
The following historical nobles will represented during combat:
