[MR] Question on Banners

But how often were such hands used on personal banners (or gonfannons, 
which most SCAdians hereabouts seem to call banners)? I've seen such hands 
used for mottoes on *standards* all over the place, but I thought the 
original poster was referring to something other than a standard. My 
apologies to Margaret (and the M.R.) for going off on a tangent if I was 
mistaken.
