[MR] Taking a Step Back

Greetings to the populace of Atlantia. I have been a member of the SCA for 4 years as of this month. I love the group, I love the people, and I love Atlantia. However, numerous things are preventing me from enjoying my time in the SCA, including my husband's deployment and some politics that are going around that I just don't want to be involved in.

So, without further ado, I would like all to know that I am stepping out for an undetermined amount of time. I will not be attending any events (save Marinus Baronial Investiture if I can make it) for some time. I need time to pursue other parts of my life, to concentrate on other important things.

However, this does not mean I will stop scribing. I am currently working on two scrolls, a backlog and a blank, and painting relieves a great amount of stress. If anyone is interested in me making their scroll or doing another paint-related project (such as heraldry, a drawing of something you'd like, etc), e-mail me and we can work out the details. Backlog scrolls are, of course, without charge ALWAYS. I do not charge for backlog scrolls unless you want a specific material that is more expensive (such as vellum or gold shell [which I will be making soon]), and then I request that you provide the materials or supplement the cost of them.
