[MR] Kingdom 12th Night

Greetings unto the Merry Rose from Duchess Simone,

It is with great pleasure that I can now announce that we have accepted a
bid for 12th night. It will be held in the Canton of Salisberie Glen
(Salisbury, NC) on January 12th, 2008. I hope that all will support this
group in putting on what promises to be an excellent event and look forward
to celebrating the holidays there. Further details will be posted here in
the next week or two.

I want to extend the Kingdom's thanks to those groups that stepped up and
put in bids, especially the Barony of Stierbach and Canton of Sudentorre,
who put together a bid, truly on the fly, in our hour of need.

It is my hope that bids for the next year's 12th night (2009) will be put
before the Kingdom in the next 3 or 4 months so that we are not struggling
next year to make the final deadlines.
