Viscount Gaius was both a noble and a gentle man.  He will truly be missed.

My last memory of him was sitting with him at a dance event in the West
where he was being, what he called, a human metronome.  He was the sort of
person where you could sit and have witty, intelligent conversation or could
simply sit in contented silence.  A grave loss indeed.

My Lords and Ladies - of all station.  When next you find yourselves sitting
in companionable silence or conversation with friends, raise your glass to
his memory - for as long as we are able to be companionable with each other
then will his spirit live on.
