And would one then need to document the extinction of the Snarfle?  Just to prove that an alternative really is needed?  Not many people know the tragic history of the Snarfle, after all.  Though, with questionable luck, one might get the one judge out there who thinks that Dodo feathers are closer in texture to Snarfle fur than Rabbit fur would be and then you're back to square one anyway!
