Just because something is explained in the documentation doesn't mean that it's
automatically ok. I can use plastic covered in gold lame instead of metal, and
explain WHY I'm doing that, but it doesn't give me a pass on the fact that I
used plastic instead of metal.
Taking it to an extreme example, I could make a really crummy object, and
explain all of the reasons why I made the shortcut choices that I did. I could
explain the perfect object that I would make if I had all of the money, time,
and skills in the world. Would I deserve a score for the perfect object in my
head, or for the crummy object on the table?
