Thank you for posting this to the Merry Rose. I have friends in the west and have been somewhat concerned although they are north of the fire zone one friend is a train conductor and have not been able to reach him as yet.
Perhaps the autocrat of Holiday Faire might consider placing a box in the hall so folks can either purchase an SCA related item or a gift card from a merchant (or pre-purchased from Sears, Home Depot, etc). This could be a nice starting point for gifts from Atlantia.
