[MR] regarding curia and a town hall meeting

her grace has it right. this particular issue had no business being posted
here as it has to do with the business of the polling orders. the attempt
at rabble rousing actually worked in the opposite and her majesty and i have
received a large outpouring of support from the populace regarding this. it
is also clear that there is a lot of misinformation and misquoting being
bandied about as well as some misconceptions about the process.

to that end we have discussed and agreed to try something new a this
unevent. first, the reason there are only certain people that have a seat
at curia and that people may speak only if recognized by the crown is
because there is too much to cover usually to open the floor to debate.
secondly, there is no place for emotional melodrama at curia. third, well,
there simply isn't a lot of time. for example this curia only has an hour
slated for it and there is little room to wiggle with that.

it is our intention to host an open forum discussion beginning at 4pm on
saturday if we can find the space to do so. a town hall meeting so to
speak. this will, if we can arrange for it to happen at all, run for 30 to
45 minutes to give us time to meet with our officers prior to the start of
curia at 5pm. this will be an opportunity for those with questions to have
them addressed by the crown. we will try to make the location known as
early as possible.

for those not able to attend unevent i had an idea stolen from the debates
held recently in which people posted their questions to youtube to be
presented to the candidates. if you are unable to attend and have a
question you would like answered on any subject please email them to our
kingdom seneschal so that she can bring them to unevent. we will address as
many as time allows and will have them read aloud.

regards
logan

orders

For that question, asking in this forum is unlikely to get you an answer.
If you are interested in knowing the whys and wherefores, you would have to
ask Their Royal Majesties. You can do so by calling them, writing an
e-mail, or showing up to Curia.

For anyone other than Their Royal Majesties to answer would be speculative
at best.
