It's my understanding that Unevent (such as all Kingdom events) is put on by
a group, be it a Barony, Shire, or what have you. If one that is centrally

matter.
*I believe that Kingdom does have a choice and should find it's own site
without going through any group, in order to be fair to all Atlantian's. The
Kingdom has a steward that is looking for sites for Kingdom Crusades, why
not a steward looking for a permanent university/unevent site? You cannot
tell me that there is no site to be had in the middle of Atlantia? Some
place that could be used year after year? *
The issue is not with Kingdom, but with a lack of Groups putting in Bids.

others that are coming up.
Did you, perhaps, get your group to submit a bid for Unevent?
*Absolutely not. First of all, we all believe that unevent is unnecessary,
it is just what it says it is, an unevent. If there are matters to be
discussed, then attach sessions either to or in place of Summer University,
so as to not waste people's time and money.

Did you volunteer your time to put it together, run it as autocrat? If so,
you
should have been told why your bid wasn't accepted. If not, you really don't
have anything to complain about.
*So, I see an injustice that applies to our populace and have no right to
address said problem? I fail to see your point.*
If you see something that you perceive as a problem, and are not proactive
in creating the solution, you lose all rights to complain about it in a
volunteer society as far as I am concerned.
*I am being proactive, hence this and my former missive. I have offered
real solutions to a real problem. There are many of us who would gladly
volunteer to take up your "cross" and work out a viable solution. And, I
beg to differ with the loss of my rights. You are living in a real world my
friend, whether you want to or not.
*In service to all,
