vivo, -ere, vixi, victum
For most latin verbs (there are irregular ones), most of the time you'll
take the second listing (present active infinitive -to live), and drop the -re.
To this add the ending matching what you want to say

singular endings
plural endings

1st person -o or -m (in this case -o for vivo) I -mus
     We
2nd person -s You
-tis You (you all if your southern)
3rd person -t He/She/It
-nt They

To make it past tense add -ba before the ending, and after the stem. The
other listings are for different forms of the verb like pluperfect. In classical
latin, as the romans would've used, the "v" was actually pronounced like our
"w", which gives a much different sound than we normally use at events.

Duchess Padraigin,

You and I have been discussing the usage of the term "vivat" in the third
person singular and the correct conversion to plural. Could you enlighten
all of us with the definition and correct usage when saluting a duo or group
as opposed to an individual/entity?
