I have found an Optometrist in the Hampstead, MD area (Bright Hills) who 
will fit lenses for your prescription if you can provide the frames.  He has

dealt with a number of various reenactment folks such as the Blue and the 
Gray and Rev war folks.  When we mentioned Medieval he was happy to work 
with us.
