Unto the Nobility of Windmasters Hill and Glorious Atlantia at Large come 
Greetings from His Grace, Cuan, Dux Bellorum by appointment of Their 
Excellencies Gaston and Roslyn, Baron and Baroness Windmasters:

By acclamation of their subjects assembled upon the 22nd day of April, with 
the approval of their Excellencies, and through the hospitality of the 
Preux, Sir Gunther Addis, Windmasters Hill will hold a day of combat 
training upon the estates of the aforementioned knight on Saturday the 19th 
day of May, 2007. Join us, as Our Beloved Barony, rightly esteemed as a 
cradle of Kings and Heroes, Artists and Artisans even unto the ancient Days 
of Baroness Clare and Baron Valdemar, sets out to reclaim her rightful place 
in the van of every Atlantian endeavor. To celebrate our efforts, Sir 
Gunther will provide his wondrous sausages and Baron Gaston a keg of beer to 
be enjoyed as the sun sets on our day of fighting. A large tent will be 
provided for shade, there is room to camp, and bards will be rewarded 
according to their skill for martial songs around the campfire. Even our 
Lord King, Valharic Imperator may attend (schedule permitting). Knights who 
did not attend Tournament of Chivalry will have two years credit against 
their time in purgatory if they attend this practice, and unbelts who were 
too timid to attend TOC may win back the love of their ladies and children 
(check with me at the end of the day).

Their Excellencies would particularly like to encourage the rapier 
community, combat archers, and anyone interested in siegecraft to attend 
this practice. If you are new to our Barony or the SCA itself, please take 
this opportunity to come out and meet some good folks in an informal 
setting.

SCHEDULE:

10:00 Armor Inspection and Pickup Fighting.

11:00 Authorization class - We will be working with those looking to 
authorize armored forms or rapier to prepare them to do so. Mock 
authorizations will be performed and honest assessments of readiness for the 
field of combat given. Live targets will be provided for combat archer 
training.

12:00 Warlord Tourney - We start in a circle and fight until we have two 
teams to use for our melee excercises. We will do one of these for both 
rapier and armored.

1:00 Armored Limited Front/Bridge Battles - Three twenty minute battles with 
resurrection. Battles will include combat archery.

1:00 Rapier Field Battles. Five field battles. No resurrection. Critiques to 
follow.

2:00 Rapier Limited Front/Bridge Battles- Three twenty minute battles with 
resurrection. Battles will include combat archery.

2:00 Armored Field Battles. Five Field battles. No resurrection. Critques to 
follow.

3:00 Armored Town/broken field battles - Three fifteen minute battles (would 
like to have all rapier fighters that want to fight spear or do combat 
archery join the armored fighters for these battles)

3:00 Rapier melee class with Duke Cuan and Several White Scarves to be named 
later.

4:00 Drills and individual instruction (We will break down and work small 
unit triad tactics, charges, spear teams, ruses and traps. (Armored and 
Rapier)

4:45 Indiviual practice time - find a knight, white scarf, or master bowman, 
and get some instruction.

5:45 Dinner - buffet style

6:45 Drinking, singing, stories and lies near a fire.

If you have gear that folks can use for armored, rapier or combat archery - 
please bring it with you.

plastic tables and chairs. This is not an event; it is a Baronial family
