[MR] rental horses available at MidSummers Twilight Tourney

Greetings all,

I would like to announce that we have several rental horses available
for MidSummer's Twilight Tourney the weekend of June 8-10 (Roxboro, NC
area).

These horses are well-trained and all are over 15 hands. They have
western or english saddles available.

The cost is $80.00 per horse. You may share with another person and
split the cost, taking turns riding. The actual number of rider's per
horse will be determined by the horse's owner and the Marshal of the
Horse. Generally we follow the guidelines of up to 4 people if all
ride at a walk and two people per horse if they ride at a trot or a
canter.

If you would like to rent one of these horses, you need to contact the
Marshal of the Horse for the event, Baroness Beatrice von Staufen at

She can give you instructions on how to reserve your horse and where
to send the money to.

We will also be doing authorizations at this event.

If you would like to authorize as a Cavalry rider, then you must
contact the Marshal of the Horse before the event to make
arrangements. Remember that there is a $5.00 fee for authorizations
payable to the MOL office upon successful completion of the
authorization.

If you wish to authorize, you should make yourself familiar with the
Society and Atlantian Cavalry Rules prior to the event. Contact the
Marshal of the Horse for information on those rules if you need them,
or go to the Society web page and follow the links for the Equestrian
marshal to the Society Equestrian Handbook for the Society Rules. You
