OK so I waited to talk about Mays’ Baronial Practice
till now because I wanted to have a link for the

We had 50 people in armor, and they spanned every
level of experience from those who strapped on harness
for the first time that day all the way up to Duke
Paul.  We had twenty people take up rapiers and
practice the art of defense.  It was a long hard day
of fighting, followed by an amazing meal cooked up by
Galen, and the one thing that I heard over and over
again was “I don’t remember when I had so much fun, we
have to do this again” everyone chipped in everyone
did their part and we had an amazing low stress super
amazing day. 

The best part, for me, was after all the fighting, I
got to sit back on the tail of my truck, and look at
all the people laughing and enjoying the end of day,
telling stories of the days glory and hearing people
talk about what they are going to do next time.  What
a great day. 

I want to say thank you to Duke Cuan and Duchess
Padraigin for all their work organizing this amazing
event. 

To Gunther, Duncan and Michael who’s hard work and
time went into mowing and clearing the land so that we
could have a place to hold the practice. 

To Suka who welcomed us all into her home and made
sure each of us was well taken care of. 

To Galen and crew for cooking up one hell of feast and
again to Gunther for providing us with sausages and
other goodies for that feast.  And last but not least
to each of you who’s contributions helped show off the
generosity and hospitality of this Barony. 

Wrap all that up with some chocolate cheese cake (for
my birthday) from Jeannette and you have an amazing
day.
