[MR] Combat Archery-only Event?

For those of you that haven't ever seen a Combat Archery tourney it's pretty
simple. You draw two circles on the ground and have two CA'ers shoot at
each other until one dies. In later rounds you can make the circle smaller,
limit the # of arrows, and move the circles closer together. Therefore it'd
be quite possible to have somebody win the tourney because of a double kill
(or lack of a kill) in the previous round.

My question is this: Is there enough interest in combat archery to hold an
event of this nature? If you would attend such an event, RSVP to me and
PLEASE not to the list you're reading this email from.

Regards

Jonathan Blackbow

There is nothing more difficult to take in hand, more perilous to conduct,
or more uncertain in its success, than to take the lead in the introduction
of a new order of things.
