[MR] Wow - Tournoi des Enfants

This is from a parent and not the autocrat. Yesterday's event was very 
special.



I want to start this by saying thank you to Lady Elizabeth for taking her 
idea of a kid event and running with it. To quote my kids - "That was an 
awesome time. It was the coolest events ever." and from the other-" That was 
a great day. I had lotsa fun.  Can we go back?"



As a parent it was a real treat that the kids had SO MANY things to do. All 
the teachers were flexible and willing to tweak their classes so that the 
kids got to do everything and not miss one class for another. Thank you to 
all the teachers. Thank you to Lady Gwenllian Anwyld for having pages 
academy classes - there are a few more kids wanting to join now.



The archery and throwing weapons were great. Everyone running it was patient 
teaching them - the youngest being 4 years old. They supplied "KEWL Targets" 
.



The FIRST YOUTH RAPIER happened. Three teens participated and had a great 
time.Thank you marshalls and MoLs and waterbearers.  Hopefully next time the 
youth armor combatants will come and play - Thanks Giselle for being 
available.



The midday feast was superb with its variety and kid friendly choices. Thank 
you to all who helped prepare and served.



There were many non-parent but kid friendly folks who came and gave from 
their hearts. It was a fabulous day for all who came and played.



One child from a neighboring barony was heard saying - "This was cool. Let's 
tell our group so we can do this "

SO  a challenge to the other groups out there - who will do this next year?
