[MR] Gene's update 5-11-07...

Being home has made the biggest difference on how Gene feels.  He's much happier and his shoulder and his restless legs aren't half as bad.  He's gone to dialysis at the clinic once and it's really close to our house.  He goes again today.  We went to therapy yesterday and Gene really liked all the people that he'll be working with.  All he did yesterday was evaluations and was told how everything will work.  He will have 30 sessions with the therapist. 

He's getting around the house with assistance and is still getting use to his daily routine.  He wants to thank everyone for caring about him while he has been recuperating.  He will be working hard at getting better.  His goals are to be able climb the stair to our up stairs bedroom and to go back to work as soon as possible. Both of these will take awhile but I'm sure he will accomplish them in time.

He is able to get out some for short times and is looking forward to that.
