The other thing is; were these weekends on the schedule as an SCA event or
were they simply get togethers? That is a big question in my opinion. Even
if everyone in the SCA got a background check and then something happened at
a non sanctioned gathering the SCA is still not responsible.
It seems to me I have heard of this farm and that "gathereings" for
different SCA related things happen there but are not "official". Tis a
shame if it is the same place, the folks I spoke to about their place were
very nice indeed, but this article mentions "the parents were away" so they
probably had no idea.
What I can not understand at all is how this went on for so many years and
no one came forward before.
