Greetings to the Tavern!
Some time ago I had sent a missive asking about Machine embroidery files.
While several people did reply that they had some files posted and such and
such a place, there was no "central" distribution site. So I decided to make
one. Thanks to Baron Llwyd's generosity in hosting it, the site is up at
http://embroidery.galtham.com/index.html. There resides all of the files
that I have currently gleaned from about the net, plus some that I digitized
that were needed. It is also the home of a project I am working on of
digitizing all of the Baronial Arms, to be followed by all of the Group
Arms.
Currently all files are in Brother's .PES format, but I can convert any that
need to be for those that may have a Viking or Tajima machine. Eventually,
all the formats will be there as well. There are not any images of the files
as of yet - the page is still a work in progress, but the idea is to have an
image of what each will look like posted. I'm a firm believer in seeing what
you are getting before you download a file. Now that I have a bit more free
time, I hope to have all the images up within the next week or so.
If you see a design that you did, and I have not given you credit for it,
please let me know so that I can fix it on the page. If you have files that
you would like to share, please send them along and I'll get them put up as
well. Finally, if you have (or could make) a high res black and white line
drawing of any awards that I do not currently have up, please send them to
me so that I can get them digitized and available for general use. I am
looking for the children's awards in particular (sea urchin, hippocampus,
etc). 800x600 will work, but 1024x768 is better.
