Upon the 27th Day of May, Their Royal Majesties Valharic and Arielle
did hold a court in Their lands of Caer Mear on Sunday evening at Sapphire
Joust.
Their Majesties did give leave to Their Excellencies William and Katerina,
Baron and Baroness of Caer Mear to hold Their Baronial court.
The Order of the Rose was called forth to present a prize for Heraldic
Display upon the field and around the event. A gift chest was presented to
representatives of House Blackspear for their group effort, especially
including the dog barding.
Lord Skorri Einarsson was then called before Their Majesties, commended for
his martial skill, local and abroad, and inducted into the Order of the
Silver Osprey.
In absentia, Lady Constantina Tagarina was praised for her extraordinary
works for this event and given the Award of the Fountain. The scroll was
passed to Their Excellencies Caer Mear to present to her in person.
Then all those who toiled as waterbearers upon the field either or both days
at Sapphire Joust were beckoned to come forward and receive a token of
thanks from the hand of the Crown.
Lady Helena of Roxbury Mill was called forth, praised for her tireless
works, then the Order of the Golden Dolphin was bid to welcome her into
their ranks, as Their Majesties inducted her into the Order of the Golden
Dolphin.
Duchess Kyneburh was given leave in court to have His Majesty draw the
winning ticket for the feast chest raffle and fund raiser. $1085 was raised
for the Royal Travel Fund, Mistress Susanna held the winning ticket, and
then magnanimously donated the chest back to the Crown for more fundraising
ability at a later date.
Finally the winners of the Rapier and Armored Ruby and Sapphire prizes were
announced.
Lord Connor Levingestoune won the Rapier Ruby prize as the overall tourney
winner.
Lord Adam Starling won the Rapier Sapphire prize for his chivalry upon the
field.
His Highness, Prince Logan Ebonwoulfe won the Armored Ruby Prize as the
overall tourney winner.
Lord Robert Wardog won the Armored Sapphire prize for his chivalry upon the
field.
Their Excellencies of Caer Mear presented the prizes to each winner from the
Barony of Caer Mear.
There being no further business, Their Majesties court was then closed.
I would like to thank Their Majesties for the opportunity to serve Them
as Their court herald for the end of such a fine event.
Baroness Genevieve d'Aquitaine
