 I have the book here; there is 1/2 page (in English) devoted to the knit stockings and the knitting industry.  There is one small picture, but you can see no details of the stitches.
 
If this subject is your only interest in the book, it's not worth the investment.  For anyone interested in Italian Renaissance clothing in general, it is a treasure trove and worth the price.
