[MR] Background checks

Greetings Good Gentles
 In light of recent law suites background checks are a wonderful Legal
Band-Aid.
They are limited in their scope of information gathering.
  A background check only finds those individuals who have been caught and
convicted
of a crime. Which is great and should be done.
  But unfortunately it will not identify those predators who have not been
caught. The primary
responsibility for the safety and safe guarding the well being of Our
children. Still resides
with each of Us as parents! We as parents and grandparents have to shoulder
this
responsibility. Because the government can not guarantee that Our children
will always be
safe. We have to insure this to the best of Our ability.
 These are My thoughts and feelings on this subject.
