Some years ago, I heard a narrative poem about an unnamed Abbot of Glastonbury and a King Henry (I'm not sure which, though I'm pretty sure it wasn't VIII), in which the King posed the Abbot three questions, and the Abbot was despairing of finding the answers. The Abbot's shepherd heard him lamenting and asked to go in his place to answer the questions, which he did, successfully.

The questions were:

-How much am I (the King) worth?

-In how much time can I go around the world?

-What am I thinking at this moment?

I've not been able to find this poem online, partly because I don't know its proper title.

Anyone know this one, and can tell me where I can find it?

Yours aye
Donal Mac Ruiseart
