Dear Dante,

Your hair is indeed a wonder!  I investigated the same subject some years
ago, with dismal results.  Perhaps you could engrave a faux tortoise shell
band with your documentation so the artwork and the research can always be
displayed together.

On a more serious note, I should point out that your many years of work on
the Armour Archive have done more to further the Arts and Sciences of armor
and fighting harness than, well, anything else in ages.  Old and slow I may
be, but I take comfort in knowing that my kit is top notch.  I owe it all to
you.

Some people display their A&S work on tables.  Other people wear it into
combat.  I hope that we, as an organization, are mindful of that.  Duke
Logan, who has contributed so much to the recent debate, cuts a very
colorful and historic figure on the field.  You don't see him fighting in
carpet armor and a plaid skirt. 

I would love to see an A&S event devoted to harness.  Imagine a feast hall
decorated with suits of armor and war banners, each labeled with the time
and place it portrays.
