Lady Rhiannon,
This feature was published to be useful strictly for Macintosh iCal
users. By accesing the given URL (webcal://ical.mac.com/magesteve/
atlantia-events.ics), the event information is loaded into the
Calendar program for Macintosh computer. This way iCal users can see
the events listed there, along with their own personal schedule.
Yes, they can enter each event themselves, but this way it is done
for them (I will see about updating this information monthly if there
is desire).
