The only difference between medicine and poison...

...is the dosage.

In this case I feel that the person in question either over-did the muscle
cream on their skin, or has some problem with their skin that didn't allow
it to be an effective barrier to the active ingredient and allowed it to
dump into her system at a high rate.

Besides if this was such a problem...today's media would be throwing this
into our face as the next big government/pharmaceutical company cover-up
instead of reporting on this as an isolated event.

It's like anything else. Take only as directed, read the instructions and if
it doesn't work...talk to a doctor.
