Salvete omnes!

I greatly appreciate any token or feedback provided, and have
shamelessly copied a wonderful idea of Lady Rhiannon of Berra's, and I
keep all tokens and notes I have received in a wee wooden box for
"inspiration" when I'm stuck on a project. Those with contact
information and/or notes specific to my attempted craft often are
references for the next iteration / attempt of my piece :-) and are
particularly appreciated!

Some of my more treasured tokens are items that are in keeping with my
craft -- I have yet to use it, but I was *very* excited to receive a
spool of silk thread with a note! :-)

For this past KASF, I put printed a stack of 3x5 index cards with my
name, contact information, device, and plenty of space for a
handwritten note for the artisan -- at the very least, I try to put a
short missive about what I most enjoyed about their piece, or perhaps
a question or a request for them to contact me as I have additional
information / questions that a 3x5 card simply won't contain :-)

When an entry / display is particularly moving, I leave one of the 3x5
cards with a pewter token -- St Barbara's tower, one of the elements
of my device -- attached to the card and typically a note with many
exclamation points and smiley faces. :-)

As I am not a scribe, I opted to print out cards as I felt that
legible contact information and such would be a gesture of deep
respect for a fellow artisan (and a means for the person to contact
me, should my handwritten note be difficult to read!).

I would enjoy hearing from those of other disciplines -- what token
could I give that would resonate with a scribe? a wood worker? a bard?
a fighter? a water bearer? a chef? There are so many wonderful arts
and disciplines displayed at each event; I would love to be able to
touch the hearts of others in the way I have been so generously gifted
over my few years in Atlantia.

Avete,
-Iohanna filia Iacobi
