Thanks for that link.  On that same link it describes
the scope and intention of SCA pretty well.

The SCA is the Society for Creative Anachronism, which
is a group dedicated to researching and recreating the
Middle Ages in the present.

Some people equate recreating with re enacting but I
think some of these terms are subject to
interpretation which creates the confusion.  If you're
entering a performance competition are you re
enacting?  It's always interesting to revisit the
parent web sites every once in a  while.  I read
corpora years ago.  But it's been so long I don't
trust my knowledge of it.
