Well...  Recounting my fingers, I have to admit I was off
by a few years.  Actual date has to have been 1983, because
I bought the helm at Pennsic XII (Get 'em on the Field
Armory, if my admittedly hazy memory serves).  Don't know
if that makes a significant difference or not...
