Our troops and our populace in support need you!
There is a chronic shortage of Waterbearers and everyone can help!  Give of yourself to our kingdom, our allies and the society gathered.  It will make a difference and you will make new friends in the process.

Waterbearing
Calling all those interested in waterbearing, or at least curious to learn how it works. 
We always need volunteers to help pass out water to the fighters and individuals participating at Pennsic War during battles on the field and in the woods. We greatly need assistance with gathering water jugs, sanitizing and refilling jugs throughout the week. The more individuals assisting with waterbearing, the more water is passed out, the safer everyone is from heat-related issues. 

The waterbearing tent will be located on the east side of the battlefield (look for the waterdrop banner). We are always there by 8 am every day, throughout the day, and with more assistance we will be done early and have more time to play. 

To join us in waterbearing, you must follow four simple rules: 

  1.. You must be 18 to be a waterbearer on the field. (Minors may help provide water to the viewers on the sidelines.) 
  2.. You must have closed toe shoes 
  3.. No live steel on the field 
  4.. Listen to the marshallate on the field at all times. 
Remember to be safe and have fun. A waterbearer's motto is "drink early drink often" (water that is).
