Sometimes, especially when it's a demonstration shareware font.

This newest version also has ligatures (if you don't know what they 
are, you don't need them). But it still lacks the "long S" (the one 
that looks like an f). As nearly as I can tell, the long S  was just 
about universal until 1800 or a bit later.
