[MR] OT: Italian name help and NWN

Dear Knowledgeable Gentles of Atlantia,
 
I have a request.  I am interested in an Italian name for a female, but I
have exactly zero knowledge of period naming practices in Italy (or the
surrounding areas).  This is not for SCA use, but instead will be used for
the naming of a character in the computer game NeverWinter Nights.  
 
I believe I only need a first name.  Please send any suggestions off list
(janielee at cox.net ).  Even though many are busy heading off to Pennsic, I'm
sure they don't want to weed through a lot of OT posts when they return.
