Greetings to the populace of Sacred Stone, Atlantia and all her friends!

I've posted about our feast before. You know it will be an extraordinarily  
reasonable $5 a head. 
 
Well, let me tell you, my friends, I visited with Lady Makai last evening  in 
her gracious home where she prepared the feast she intends for myself and a  
few others and, God's Teeth! but we had an enjoyable meal!
 
The menu is as follows . . . and there is only one dish not based on period  
recipes. Only one.
 
The Journey on the Trade Routes to distant Cathay begins in Italy with  
Bread, Honey Butter, Herbed Butter and Cheese. 
 
We pause in Byzantia, there to sample Chicken marinated in Grape Juice and  
glazed with Honey, Sauteed Greens (spinach) and couscous.
 
Onward a few steps to Persia for a bowl of savory Lentil Soup.
 
At our destination, Cathay with all her wonders, we enjoy Steamed Rice,  
Five-Spice Pork and Steamed Cabbage.
 
After a long, arduous trek back across the mountains, deserts and oceans,  we 
will enjoy our dessert in Italy once again . . . Grapes and the only  
non-period dish on our menu, but one you will enjoy, I promise you . . . Wine  Cake. 
 
Those observing a vegetarian diet can freely indulge in anything except the  
two meats. The grain and vegetable dishes are vegetarian-friendly. If you have

Feast will be capped at 60 seats for the populace and only available for  
pre-registrations received by Saturday, August 18 to allow Makai to make her  
purchases. Reservations for SSBB come to ME.
