I hope that all who wished to, celebrated in some way today. Spent time  with 
family and friends or with memories. Ate too much, watched a parade,  checked 
out fireworks and saved at department store sales.
 
I hope you all had a marvelous day, where ever you are and whatever your  
nationality. But to those of you who are American, by birth or by choice, Happy  
Independence Day!
 
To all of you who have served this country in the military, who have sent  
sons, daughters, husbands, wives, brothers and sisters, cousins and friends,  
Thank you for your service and your sacrifice.
 
I hope you all sleep as well and as safely as my family and I will tonight.  
That is a privilege dearly bought and deeply to be cherished. Be well.
