Good Gentles All,
This is a reminder of the Silent Auction that is currently in progress 
and will culminate at the Dun Carraig "A Day in the Middle East" event 
on 17 February.  This auction is for a feast for 4 to be cooked at 
Pennsic in the Dun Carraig encampment.  The theme/cuisine of the feast 
can be selected from Middle Eastern, English Renaissance or 
Mediterranean (Italy, Naples, souther Spain).  The feast will consist of 
several courses, much as an SCA feast does, with wine and other 
beverages included.  The feast will be cooked by the talented Dun 
Carraig cooks, headed by Minowara Kiritsubo-no-Ason and Master Phillip 
of Ghent.

Bids can be sent to me at ekoogler1 at comcast dot net.  Starting bid is 
$60. The auction will benefit the Calvert County, MD Relay for Life of 
the American Cancer Society.  Dun Carraig fields a team for this event.  
The food for the feast will be donated by the cooks, so your entire 
donation goes to the ACS to fund research, community services and 
support for cancer patients, their families and cancer survivors.
