Morning court
On the twentieth day of January, Their Majesties, Ragnarr Blackhammer
and Anneke Raudhe, came to the Barony of Storvik to invest a new baron
and baroness. The sunlight was bright and warm but the wind blew like
freezing daggers, so the populace gathered within the small hall and
few ventured outside.
At the morning court the following sundry business was performed and
awards bestowed.
Graham Johannason Award of Arms
Gregor von Leipzig Kings Missiliers
Their Majesties then gave permission for Baron Sean de la Mare and
Baroness Elizabeth Harlyn to conduct what business they would before
relinquishing the seat of Storvik. Once they had done so they were
released from their duties with the thanks of Their Majesties.
King Ragnarr and Queen Anneke called Baron Rorik Fredericsson and Lady
Janina Krakowska and invested them as the new baron and baroness of
Storvik. Their Excellencies were then permitted to hold a brief court
before Their Majesties resumed distributing boons.

Herveus d'Ormonde Laurel
As the gathered Members of the Laurel were greeting and congratulating
Master Herveus d'Ormonde, His Majesty interrupted the proceedings and
asked that the members might introduce themselves to the populace, so
that the people might better know them.
Their Majesties then called forth Eadric the Potter and placed him on
vigil to contemplate joining the Order of the Laurel. So escorting
Lord Eadric to his vigil Their Majesties closed Their morning court.
Midday Court
On the twentieth day of January, Their Majesties, Ragnarr Blackhammer
and Anneke Raudhe, called court on the dance floor of the small crowded
hall where they had but hours before invested a new Baron and Baroness
of Storvik. There They bestowed the following award.
Stefan of Cambion Pearl
As His Excellency Master Igor Medvéd (known to most as Igor Bear) made
light hearted mock during the awarding, His Majesty Ragnarr commanded
that His Excellency should dance at the direction of Lord Stefan. Many
laughed to think on a dancing Bear.
This worthy and merry business being concluded Their Majesties closed
Their court.
Evening Court
On the twentieth day of January, in the evening, Their Majesties,
Ragnarr Blackhammer and Anneke Raudhe, called court in the hall where
they had invested Rorik and Janina as Baron and Baroness of Storvik.
Their Majesties graciously permitted Baron Rorik and Baroness Janina to
conduct their court before turning to Their own business.
Duchess Kyneburh Boithuile was called into court to receive a medallion
in recognition of her membership in the Order of the Yew Bow.
Lady Livia of Ravenswode was give a writ commanding her to attend a
future court of Their Majesties and to contemplate joining the Order of
the Pelican.
Ysabel of Storvik Award of Arms
Arianna of Storvik Opal
Their Majesties then welcome and acknowledged those new to our society
who increase our joy in fellowship.
Baron Charles O’Conner, Master of the Pelican and Laurel, was given
royal leave to publicly take as his protégé Lord Siegfried Sebastian
Faust. May they bring honor to each other and to Atlantia.
King Ragnarr called Lord Andrew Roriksson into the royal presence to
return a shield grip the lad (I write lad for I know no word to
describe a youthful moving mountain.) had misplaced on the list field.
His Majesty then commanded Andrew to guard himself well and to fight
fifty knights before year’s end.
After this the children of Atlantia were called to retrieve treasures
from the royal coffer. This is fitting as they are the treasure of our
kingdom.
Their Majesties continued bestowing awards and favors.
Frederich von Teufen Pearl
Yakov ha Mizrah Pearl (in absentia)
Thomas of Storvik King’s Missilliers
Kalisa Alekandrov Award of Arms
Sir Stanford of Sheffield was permitted to address the populace and he
commended Their Majesties on allowing the Members of the Order of the
Laurel to introduce themselves to the people at the first court. He
then gave His Majesty a small grey goose in the hopes that King Ragnarr
would then goose Baron Rorik (Baron Rorik had earlier ordered his
people to stop goosing him). The King instead, mindful of his duty as
Baron Rorik's liege, opted to keep the goose for himself. Baron Igor
Bear remarked that Sir Stanford had just goosed His Majesty in public
court. His majesty, not content to leave the jest thus called Baron
Igor before him. The baron nervously laughed in expectation of a royal
reprimand but was taken by surprise when His Majesty instead reminisced
on the worthy deeds and positive influence of Baron Igor and thanked
him for all he had done for His Majesty.
Their Majesties then called Lord Eadric the Potter and bestowed the
last award I witnessed.
Eadric the Potter Laurel
All this done, Their Majesties closed Their court.
Long live Ragnarr and Anneke!
