This past weekend January 12th, 2007, was held the
best A&S competition in the known world and yes I am
biased!

It was Tempore Atlantia and the highlighted time
period was for items and subjects for Pre-1000 C.E.

We had many impressive entries and the scores were
some of the highest I have seen. The artisans and
scholars are working very hard to make what they do
more "medieval" and they should be congratulated.

So without further ado here are the winners of the
Tempore Atlantia-

BEST IN SHOW-
First Place:
HRH Lucius Aurelius Valharic,
for his documentation of the feast he prepared for the
Coronation of Ragnarr and Anneke on Sept. 2, 2006

Second Place:
Tom Drumbuilder,
for his display and research of Anglo Saxon Burial
goods that included his reproductions of various grave
goods and a water bucket.

BEST DOCUMENTATION-
Dunstan Letterngmongere,
for his documentation of his project of makeing a
reproduction of the Loki Stone.

BEST WOVEN, SPUN, or HAND KNIT ITEM-
Brienna Llewellyn Linday,
for her study of the entire process of weaving 3-1
twill trim from raw fleece to finished woven trim.

MOST UNUSUAL ITEM or RESEARCH OF AN UNUSUAL ITEM-
Etain of Sutherland,
for her research and display of her project to make
Roman Kiln Bricks.

Please congratulate these talented gentles and ask
them about thier research!

Vivants to the best and brightest artisans in the
Kingdom of Atlantia!
