All,

This is my second attempt at posting this, I do not think the first one went through.

Cathal,
Please forward this to the Merry Rose for me.

Greetings and Gratitude does Lady Lore Bubeck bring to the good gentles of the Merry Rose. I come to you today with the lost and found list from Dun Carraig's "Day in the Middle East" and thanks to those who, despite living outside of our borders, helped us out in some way during our event. Thanks go to all those who taught classes: Hoviette, Magdalena, Nina, Galfrid, and Lady Rosamund du Grasse; those who sponsored and judged A&S competions: Magdalena, Lady Rosamund, and Mistress Kisaiya; and those who helped out in the kitchen during the day: Dame Hauviette d'Anjou, Eibhlinn nic Raghailligh, her lord, Baron Timothy of Kirkwood, Lady Tirzah MacCrudden, Lady Cristina Iarina Chaikinaia, Lord Grendel Pagan and Lady Flora. Thanks too to those who stayed to help clean up. I know I didn't get all the names, but I am incredibly grateful for all of your help. You helped to make this event the success it was. Thank you.

As far as lost and found, I have one lost and several found items. A blue child's-sized "pill box" hat was lost. If anyone went home with an extra one, please contact me for the owner's information. The found items are as follows:

1. A large blue glass goblet with raised flowers on it

2. A large silver serving spoon with a twisted handle

3. A small ceramic cup with a cream-colored glaze with brown speckles

4. A small, square wooden bowl

5. A white on white embroidered napkin - floral patern in a square border.

6. A large white napkin, no markings (other than the remnants of a feast enjoyed)

7. A plain navy blue napkin, no markings.

8. A large, rectangle, white on white woven table cloth. Pattern is roses.

9. A small pillow made during children's corner. Pattern is burgundy roses.

10. A brass stick pin, 3 inches in length with a small coil at the top.

11. A small brass bell that used to be attached by a small leather cord to something (piece of broken cord still attached)

12. Small plastic "butterfly" hair clip, tortise shellcolor.

13. An "everyday" table spoon, silver in color with floral pattern on handle.

14. A beautiful long, sleeveless green and gold brocade coat with a pin on it. This pin is a round, tarnished color pin with orange beads on it. The pin used to be a pendant. (If no one really wants to claim this one, I'm sure I could give it a good home!!)

Please contact me if any of these items are yours and I will work to get them back to you.

YIS
