[MR] Expectations of a Queen

Greetings unto Atlantia and unto Duke Logan,   I am grateful to Duke Logan for opening this discussion.  It shows a real concern for the kingdom.  Usually a Lord fighting for the crown does so with the intention of sharing the throne with his lady wife or significant other.  That has worked well enough as I must say that Atlantia has been blessed with fine Queens that we can admire.  I can't actually think of a Queen who seemed to me to not be good enough.  However, occasionally a lord wishes to fight in the crown tournament, but has no obvious lady with whom to riegn.  In this circumstance, I would love to see him choose a lady whose experience and service to the kingdom would give her the "right" to be a Queen.  There are many ladies in Atlantia known throughout the kingdom for their vast service who have little chance to ever be Queen because they are not attached to a lord who could win in the crown list.  It would be fitting to qccasionally see such a lady crowned.  I like her to dress the part well, too.  YIS,  Avery
