Here begins the report of the morning court of Ragnarr and Anneke, King
and Queen of Atlantia.
Upon the tenth day of February A.S. XLI (2007), court was held in the
Barony of Windmasters Hill. Numerous boons were granted and worthies
were recognized and rewarded by Their Majesties.

Lord Olivier de Bayonne having been placed upon vigil the previous
evening was called before the Throne to declare his intention to accept
the honor and responsibility of joining the Order of the Laurel. After
firmly asserting his will to do so the Order was summoned as witnesses
and give council.

The Company of the Silver Spindle were invited into the Royal Presence
and gave Their Majesties gifts, a shawl for the queen and a pouch for
the king.

Malchior Grave was asked if he was content to fight his prize that day,
so that he might be elevated to the Order of the White Scarf. He was
well disposed to do so and fought with grace and honor.

King Ragnarr and Queen Anneke called Saunooke and Gwenllian ferch Gwium
(known to many as Makai) before them but Gwenllian was not in court and
so Saunooke went to fetch her. In the meanwhile Their Majesties
permitted Lord Geoffrey Athos von Ulm and Maestra Maddalena Salutati,
baron and baroness of Windmasters Hill, to conduct business of the
barony. When Saunooke and Gwenllian returned the following award was
bestowed upon them, to wit...

Saunooke Golden Dolphin

Gwenllian ferch Gwium Golden Dolphin

With this done the court of Windmasters Hill reopened and Their
Excellencies Geoffrey and Maddalena did sundry business until word came
that would compel them to leave the seat of Windmasters Hill. With
regret, Their Majesties granted permission for Their excellencies to
step down. After their departure the senechallate of Windmasters Hill
was called before Their Majesties and bidden to assess the claims of
the various heirs for the former baron and baroness. It was found that
the bastard Lord Gaston Valmont and the puissant Lady Rosalind Delamere
had the best claim to the barony (Gaston it seems is Geoffrey’s
illegitimate son.). Therefore...

Gaston Valmont Baron of Windmasters Hill

Rosalind Delamere Baroness of Windmasters Hill

Baron Alaric Domhnullach, the master of the day’s festivities, was
summoned by the King and Queen and removed from his duties so that he
might be placed upon vigil to contemplate joining the Order of the
Pelican.

All this being done the court of Their Majesties was closed.

Long live King Ragnarr and Queen Anneke!

Here follows an account of a court called by Their Majesties Ragnarr
and Anneke upon the field of the Tourney of Ymir about the hour of
noon.

The King and Queen summoned the chivalry of Atlantia to the field and
then bid Master Roland de Monteney approach. Their Majesties informed
Master Roland of Their intent to see him knighted. Many knights then
counseled him.

Sir Christian bade him bear his surcoat as a symbol of the blows and
hardships a knight must bear.

Sir Colin advised him that his spurs should remind him to be swift and
diligent in his duty.

Sir Corby told him that his white belt should bring to his mind that he
must be steadfast in guarding himself from shame.

Sir Vladimir said to him that a knight’s lance and pennon are born
before him as he must bear truth before him always to pierce deceit.

Sir Andrew bid him to carry his shield before him to ward himself as he
must be a ward for the defenseless and innocent.

Duke Cuan presented him with his chain of office which must remind him
that he is bound to his oath and his duty.

Sir Bryce gave him a sword as a symbol of the justice a knight must
mete out.

Roland then made his oath of fealty to Their Majesties and then
received the buffet from the hand of Count Thorbrandr. Thus...

This being done court was closed.

Long live King Ragnarr and Queen Anneke!
