We are going to be asking all attendees who drive their vehicle to KASF to
fill out a small card to put in their windshield so we can find them (should
need arise). Those who are pre-registered will have a card already filled
out in their name, reducing the time they spend at the Troll Booth.
And those who need extra time for setting up their displays or merchandise
can check in 2 hours early if they are pre-reg'd and let me know that they'd
like to be on the early-check-in list*.
So see, you really want to pre-reg. Really, the Troll Booth, while staffed
by fun and friendly people, isn't the place you want to be spending a big
chunk of your time. You should pop a cheque in the mail. Really. And if you
include your membership number on it, that will speed things along even
more! Isn't that great?
Please send your reservations to:
Terri Morgan (Dame Hrothny Rognvaldsdottir)
905 Spring Garden Lane
Virginia Beach, VA 23452
the cost is:
$10 for attendees over the age of 15, with a $3 NMF for adult non-members
$5 for attendees ages 5 - 14
Children ages 4 and under are our guests.
Please make your cheques out to "Barony of Marinus, SCA Inc".
In service,
Hrothny
*The early check-in list WILL be strictly enforced. Really, Honestly. Don't
come early thinking, "I know Hrothny and she's a sweetie and we go w-a-y
back, so she'll let me in early" because she's really a big meanie and will
turn you away from the gate and make you wander, lonely and stuck in your
car, all over the streets of Chesapeake until the regular check in time. Or
advise you to travel to a fast-food place to eat greasy stuff and drink
their coffee until 10:00. You wouldn't want that, would you? I thought not.
She wouldn't want that for you either.
