Congratulations on raising such a wonderful sum for the American Cancer
Society! What a wonderful thing for you to do. And the rest of you
folks...don't forget that Phillip and I are auctioning off a
dinner/feast for 4 to be served at Pennsic to benefit the American
Cancer Society's Relay for Life. I sit on one of the Peer Review
Committees for the ACS...we evaluate applications for grants to do
cancer research. While I can't go into details about any of the
applications, I can tell you that many of them contained very exciting
ideas, and the money we raise is what funds that research!

In case you've forgotten...the dinner will be cooked by Master Phillip
and myself, with the able assistance of the fine cooks from Dun
Carraig. The lucky winning bidder will have their choice of
Mediterranean, Renaissance English or Middle Eastern cuisines. It will
be served on a mutually agreeable night at Pennsic in the Dun Carraig
encampment. Our current bid sits at $150, and has been at that level
for some time now. I know you folks can do better! You can send those
bids to me and I'll keep everyone posted as to our progress.

Thanks!

Kiri
